I love your ministry, Bro Bow. And I love that you are such a good friend to my brother. That makes me love you!! You rock!!!
Bro. Bow, how good it is to contact you. I was in the Madera church until the age of seven, and recieved the Holy Ghost and was baptized under you. You have been on my heart lately so I started looking for you and here you are. You are in my prayers constantly. You are one of the biggest contributing factors to the fact that I am saved today. Thank you for all you have done. God bless.
Thank you. A few times in a lifetime you receive a message that makes everything worthwhile. Your comment blessed me. Keep praying and living for Jesus! I treasure my years in Madera.
God bless you,
Kenneth Bow
Hello. My name is Inna. I would like to share a testimony with you.
On Friday, Oct. 12th while searching for the “Brother Like That” story to use for my teen Bible Study, I stumbled across this blog. When I saw the photograph of you Pastor, and read your name, I thought, “Hmmm… He seems SO familiar!” A split second later I realized why. A decade and a half ago, Sister Sue, Sister Sandy, and various women from the church used to pick me up from my low-income neighborhood and take me to church. So from about 5 years to 10 years old, I was privileged to attend Sunday School every single week! It was there that I was baptized in the Holy Spirit, learned countless Christian songs that I now sing to my newborn baby, and developed a strong relationship with the Lord. I haven’t been back to “Truth Tabernacle” as we used to call it, for many years. But Praise God, this ministry has left such a marvelous impact on my life.
I consider it a miracle that out of zillions of website out there, I so happened to come across this one. It has been a blessing to me reading the various posts and simply reflecting back on my childhood at your church. Someday I would like to come back with my husband and son so they may also experience for themselves the awesome Pentecostal fellowship I have so often talked about!
Blessings to you and your congregation!
Have a good day Kenneth..
A few years ago I had occasion to come upon and read your blog. It was at the time when a story of a man whom the Lord called to a 40 day fast was published. Upon completion of the fast, this man asked to pray for his pastor and asked the Lord to bestow all the spirutual strength gained from this fast upon him.
I would very much like to read this story again, could you reply and let me know the month in which it was written?
Thank you.
I am away from my desk. Maybe use the search feature?
I tried to search for “40 day fast,” “fasted 40 days” and “skeleton,” as I somewhat recall these words were used in the story. However using the search function was unfruitful.
Thank you for the quick reply. I am happy to wait until you are able to direct me further.
